We've recently secured €5M in Series A funding, which has strengthened our leading position in the clean mobile energy space, supports the growth of our team and the expansion of our business internationally. As part of taking the company to the next level, we are on the lookout for an experienced Legal Counsel, who is ready to navigate complex legal matters!

Your role as a Legal Counsel;

As a Legal Counsel at Skoon you will take the ownership of the legal department, handling all legal aspects of the company, both nationally and internationally, including;

Our General Terms & Conditions of our marketplace and software services. Ensure our marketplace's independent position is legally secure and justified Legal contracts related to the software platform, ensuring compliance with requirements for both supply and demand sides Commercial contracts and partnerships Setup new company entities, both nationally and internationally, in collaboration with the finance department and management Lead the legal aspects of funding rounds and international expansion, as Skoon is a rapidly growing scale-up company Oversee all legal-related items, including agreements with investors, our employee participation plan, contracts and insurance.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel, who can solve problems quickly and diligently, and knows the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up. We seek someone who has legal expertise and can align legal objectives across multiple business units and teams. A strong sense of personal and professional engagement with our team, product and mission is deeply valued.

We are looking for someone who:

Has at least 3 years of relevant and diverse legal working experience Is familiar with contract law, especially in the context of software platforms Is familiar with international legal regulations, tax and cross-border transactions Is able to analyse complex legal issues quickly and provide effective solutions Is highly motivated, with a drive to secure the best legal position for Skoon Takes initiative to research and learn about legal challenges Skoon is facing now and in the future Is detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple legal projects simultaneously Has a problem-solving mindset with the ability to address legal challenges effectively and efficiently Is able to speak, read, and write English and Dutch at a professional level
