Your job

As a Business Consultant in the RWA Basel Data Product team, you will be acting as a Data Steward responsible for the business aspects of Data Management in accordance with all rules and legislation, policies and standards. You will become the expert of the data in is Data Product, such as defining and registering metadata, analysing and resolving DQ issues, capturing governance lineage and supporting the construction of the Finance & Risk Business Data Model. We represent our consumer, the Basel Chain responsible for calculating and reporting the RWA results. You will have an end-to-end overview, from the Golden datasets to a use case, and work closely with subject matter experts from Credit Risk, Basel Reporting, Data Sourcing, Data Modelling and Data Platform. Working environment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with anAgile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

Your profile

Our ideal candidate contributes to the improvement of our team, build relationships with our stakeholders, are practical, and take responsibility. If you think this sounds like you, check to see if your profile matches the following: • You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English is required) • You have successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) • You have at least 4 years relevant working experience • You have knowledge of data governance and data management best practices (e.g. DAMA) and the requirements in these areas from the regulator (e.g. BCBS239) • You can independently participate in stakeholder engagement sessions • You have affinity with banking, Finance & Risk Management and reporting We are offering
