Internship Sector Banking

Being actively involved in the Corporate Finance Sector Banking team and support origination and execution processes to assist clients in achieving their strategic goals - through relative and intrinsic valuation modelling, preparing presentations, synthesizing information, sector research, and being part of client meetings and pitches. The Sector Banking team follows Rabobank’s global strategy that is focussed only on the Food & Agriculture sector. The team works closely together with the M&A and other products execution teams and provides sector input during execution processes of M&A and other transactions, such as preparing marketing materials and valuations. Making a difference As an Intern, you will get to learn about the Rabobank culture, and what benefits and responsibilities come along with being part of the team. You will work on real-life opportunities and be integral part of the team, learning more about Sector Banking at Rabobank. Tasks include: Synthesizing information for clients (including its markets, products and competitors) and transactions Supporting the team in the preparation of pitching and marketing material (i.e. rfp, teaser, information memorandum, etc.) Supporting in financial analyses, modelling and valuation work Taking part to key commercial and strategic efforts such as client pitches and client meetings Analysing customer’s needs to develop pro-active solutions (together with senior team members) Supporting senior bankers in the creation of new and innovative corporate finance ideas leading to strategic discussions With each other Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our Sector Banking team brings talented people together to drive the origination process. With you as an intern, the team will consist of 30 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles. With you We are looking for best in class university students whom are towards completing their bachelor or enrolled in their master degree. For this internshipyou are required to remain enrolled at a university during the duration of the internshipand available to work full-time for at least 3 months.

Required skills and experience: Completing your bachelor degree or currently enrolled in a master degree and affinity for finance; Previous experience in a (full-time) finance related function is preferred Outstanding record of academic achievement combined with extra-curricular interests and experience; Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills; Co-operative, adaptive and flexible attitude as well as excellent communication skills; Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing is a prerequisite; Fluency in at least one other European language is preferred; Strong work ethic and motivation; Trusted and loyal team player.
