The work You will be an intern within the PCS (Pro

ject

Control Services) group in Accenture. The PCS group is the entity within Accenture Technology specialized in mobilizing,

transforming

and running the

PMO

(Project Management Officer)

on projects, programs, and portfolios. We enable delivery management to focus on value creation and successful del

ivery by

fac

ilitating

them with

our

PMO

expertise

and standardized processes using Agile and Waterfall tools and methodologies. For example, as a

PMO you

are respon

sible for

risk/issue management, project governance, controlling financials

and

resources tracking

. During the period of 4-7 months, you will do research and

write

your thesis focused on how the PMO role is developing in the outside market and how Accenture’s position can grow within this focus area. As PCS we control,

facilitate

, support, coordinate and guide complex, large and mostly international IT transformation programs for our clients. With our experience and knowledge, we set

high standards

for our team to deliver our best work. We act in complex client environments and need to ensure to keep up with latest innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies. What can you expect? • Team: In the PCS department, the team is

very diverse

and ranges from junior consultants to senior managers who have gained knowledge from various (enterprise) projects. Our team consists of 40 consultants and is growing. We

facilitate

all industries (

i.e.

products, financial services, resources) • Daily tasks: Besides working on your thesis, we have an active intern community where you can gain knowledge on the PMO role and contribute to internal activities. We have monthly events to meet each other and share best practices. • Research: As a research intern, you

have the opportunity t

o

shape your own research proposal, matching your education and aspiration. • Career: This internship can be a great kickstart for your career. PMO and Project Management are general skills which are used and are applicable in many different environments and industries.

Here's what you'll need •

You are currently a bachelor or master student who is enrolled in a Dutch

Hoge school

/university during the

whole length

of the internship. •

Fluency in Dutch (spoken and written) and English •

You are

writing

your thesis and are available for a period of 4-6 months •
