Leads business intelligence processes (data gathering, analysis, review, monitoring, data warehouse management, etc.) in order to facilitate efficient decision-making during sales LBE planning cycles and IBP meetings.
Ensure commercial excellence in-field by leading frequent business reviews with Sales managers, Reps, hospital purchasers/or customers’ distributors in order to flag business risks, opportunities and commercial implementation plans for improvement.
Major Accountabilities Commercial Excellence : Lead translation of commercial developments and business trends into complex models and plans, based on data from competitive intel, marketing campaigns, exposure to market access risks, sales performance, supply chain changes, customer demands etc.
Lead process of defining key opportunities and vulnerabilities by implementing commercial models for LBE and IBP business planning cycles.
Responsible to ensure a dialog with any relevant in-company stakeholders, to evaluate market and ADC sales developments. Check implementation (execution) in the field with sales reps in order to provide regular feedback about projects and processes, as well as improvement of commercial processes.
Lead the process for business case creation and vetting of commercial proposals for sales force and promotional actions (e.g. ROI implementation, tracking of outcomes, business analysis).
Manage information on markets, competition trends, internal strategic KPIs and work closely with market access to provide accurate TAM data.
Business Excellence : Key lead for ADC commercial team when driving business excellence and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. country product launches, new business models implementation, sampling etc.)
Work closely with EMEAP and other regions to drive synergies for continuous improvement, best practice sharing & standardization across EMEAP regions (e.g. as supply chain ambassador or member of other internal sounding boards)
Proposes new business models to address current challenges.
Drives internal adherence to operational excellence KPIs, compliance and procedures.
Keep the customer’s real needs at the center of all planning activities, encourage communication, drive execution, and foster innovation, as means of providing a best-in-class service.
Education & Background Minimum Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Strategic supply chain related disciplines.
Strong analytical skills and experience from statistical forecasting and the ability to use analysis in an operational context to support ADC team in decision making processes.
Experience with key business intelligence principles and financial analysis. • Strong business acumen, driving business critical processes, such as, but not limited to sales performance reviews, leading projects, supply chain management, pricing model analysis.
Organization and planning skills, ability to work close to deadlines and prioritize workload. Project management certification preferred (e.g. Prince2)
Demonstrate the ability to interact and collaborate with other team members in order to foster and reinforce the positive, value-driven team spirit and entrepreneurial culture within the company. Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all other departments and personnel.
Fluency in English, Dutch and/or French.
Must have excellent system skills, aptitude and experience, especially Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant progressive experience in MedTech, Pharma or similar industry.
