Your Role & Impact

In this broad role you are our expert, the financial conscience of SkyGeo. You play an essential role in the accurate recording and management of all financial processes within our company. You are the link between the financial administration and the business. You translate new business initiatives into financial consequences. In this role you are hands-on, but you also grow with our company; In the long term you will run our (your own) financial department!

With your drive, you will bring (more) structure to our financial organization. You are responsible for the integral financial administration of our 2 entities. You prepare profit and loss accounts, manage cash flow, prepare VAT returns and maintain contacts with external parties such as the tax authorities, banks and insurance companies.

You are responsible for accounts receivable management and the insurance portfolio, and you'll work together with external accountants for, among other things, the compilation of annual accounts. In the meantime, you help build the business; subjects such as updating cash management, making growth manageable, and supporting the MT are also part of this challenge.

In short, a diverse and varied role in an international setting, in which you'll operate in an advisory and strategic manner, must be hands-on, but must also have the capabilities to (in the long term) set up our financial department!

Your profile

We would like to challenge you to optimize and further roll out our processes. We therefore expect you to have knowledge and experience with cost structures, consolidation and budgeting. We would also like you to:

be able to spot everydetail and bestress-resistant have knowledge of tax and payroll administration have the courage to be criticaland say 'no'.

In addition, you also have:

at least an HBO completed financial education a minimum of5-8 years of demonstrable experience in a similar position a hands-on & pro-active attitude good communication skills in bothDutch and English.
