A skilled entrepreneurial procurement specialist for Avocados

• Build a network of different suppliers across Europe

• You conduct all commercial negotiations with suppliers

• To purchase Avocados at the right price (4.000.000+ kg/yr.)

• Supply chain planning from supplier to production facility in Poeldijk, Westland (NL)

• Administrative and logistics tasks that naturally come with the role

• Regular travel in Europe is required

Job requirements

• BSc/MSc working and thinking level

• Min. 3 years’ experience in a procurement role in fruit or vegetables

• Knowledge of the Fresh Fruit industry in Europe. Familiar with the dynamics and challenges within the fresh sector

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Cool head in negotiations with a good level of relationship management.

• Fluent in English and good command of Dutch. Third language is a pre

• Capable of planning and organizing the business
