We are looking for a driven and energetic Financial Controller who takes a pragmatic approach. Within the Finance team (8 people), you will be the connecting link between the CFO and the Finance Team. Additionally, you will ensure that reporting deadlines are met. You will play a crucial role in critically evaluating current financial processes and proposing and implementing improvement initiatives based on your findings. All in all, a broad and responsible position with a significant impact! RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the financial administration, including supervision and control. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly closures, reporting, and other periodic statements. Contact person and primary point of contact for our Finance team in Sri Lanka (5 FTE). Training and coaching the Assistant Controller and Finance team in Sri Lanka. Proactively working on optimizing processes and procedures, improving efficiency, and implementing controls. Preparing and facilitating the year-end closing and audit process. Ensuring accurate, timely, and complete processing of financial data. General ledger and margin analyses. Coordinating and controlling accounts payable and accounts receivable administration. Preparing cash flow statements and forecasts. Monitoring and executing outgoing payments. Preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts. Identifying risks. Solving ad hoc problems.
