Globally, the IT department is divided into European (Optelec) and Americas (Vispero) divisions, overseen by the IT Director based in the USA. The European IT division manages operations in The Netherlands, Belgium, The UK, and Germany. Collaborating with the Senior IT Manager Europe and IT Support Specialist, the Application Analyst Europe supports approximately 200 users in their day-to-day activities. Using Exact Globe and Synergy (NL/BE/UK) and Winline ERP/CRM in Germany as core applications, the IT team, along with external IT partners, assumes full responsibility for managing, developing, and optimizing business processes and data structures. Additionally, the Microsoft 365 stack is implemented company-wide. The Role For Optelec (part of Vispero) RIXT Recruitment is exclusively recruiting for an experienced, detail-oriented Application Manager to join the European IT team. As an Application Manager at Optelec, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing business processes by managing ERP and CRM systems and related applications. Your responsibilities will include translating user needs into functional specifications, implementing changes, and resolving complex IT issues. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. Tasks and responsibilities: Ensure the smooth operation of ERP and CRM systems, along with related applications. Identify, develop, and continuously improve integrations, automation, and processes within ERP/CRM systems. Manage and maintain documentation and procedures related to applications. Provide strategic advice on organizational and technical ERP issues. Proactively contribute to and prioritize multiple projects, assignments, and timelines. Communicate effectively with internal and external resources to successfully complete assignments. Stay informed about technological developments relevant to the organization's international entities. Support users in defining application needs and advising on suitable solutions. Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving or renewing primary processes within the company. Your Profile Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in a relevant field. Strong knowledge of business processes. Experience in full-cycle maintaining ERP and CRM systems. Technical proficiency in SQL database management and SQL Server Reporting Services as with API/Integration strategies. Familiarity with Exact Globe/Exact Synergy and/or Orbis BPA is desirable. Proficiency in Dutch and English; German language skills are advantageous. Plan-based and customer-oriented attitude. Accurate, systematic, and goal-oriented approach. Excellent team player with strong communication skills. Ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and remain focused on objectives.
