As Senior Finance & Project Controller, you have a crucial role in aligning Finance processes with the operational processes and long-term goals of the organization. You are responsible for accurately administrating the financial implications of primary business processes, which leads to insights into the operation of a manufacturing company and project organization. Analysing margins, financial ratios and monitoring relevant financing covenants are an important part of the role. You translate financial data into insightful reports for management and directors. You are also responsible for preparing the annual accounts of projects and the group and supervising the annual audit in close cooperation with the auditor. As Senior Finance & Project Controller, you are part of the finance team and are responsible for running the day-to-day finance operations in close collaboration with the team and the CFO. The preferred candidate has the ambition to progress towards becoming the manager of the Finance Team and to be a part of the Management Team with direct reporting lines to the board of directors. Skills required therefore include: Management skills and teambuilding skills, whereby you lead by example. Ability to translate policy into detailed plans for the Finance department. Awareness that financial processes should run smoothly, whereby managing internal and external stakeholders is significant. Contributing to the core values of Royal Eijkelkamp, whereby integrity and respectfulness are important. You are precise, accurate and have an eye for results. You are used to managing changes that may occur while working in a dynamic environment. Developing, analysing, and managing financial reports & forecasts to optimize insights into Royal Eijkelkamp's financial performance about strategic decisions. You are an experienced finance professional and proactive and enjoy leading by example. You are hands-on, have a ‘can do’ attitude, are solution driven and have effective communication skills. Furthermore, you have/are: HBO BSC or Academic educational background. Additional accountancy certifications are preferable. At least 10 years of work experience, preferably 2 years of management experience. It is characterized by decisiveness, drive, result orientation, initiative, and stress resistance. Excellent command of English and Dutch. The finance team consists of 5 to 6 people and you will work closely with various departments and managers. The position is based in Giesbeek, the Netherlands, with several workplaces in various buildings of the company park. It is located in a beautiful green location on the river IJssel, between Arnhem and Doetinchem. The offices are easily accessible by public transport and by car.
