This role involves managing a portfolio of wholesale clients and prospects (banks, insurance, etc.) located in the BeNeLux region. Depending on the profile, the coverage may also include institutional clients in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate should have extensive sales experience and a proven track record of building and developing new relationships with wholesalers in the BeNeLux region, and ideally with institutional clients as well. What you will do • Develop a portfolio of prospects by promoting Allianz Global Investors’ expertise • Work collaboratively with customer service, distribution colleagues and investment professionals to coordinate the commercial follow-ups and deliver on commitments in a timely manner • Coordinate responses to RFIs/RFPs and collaborate with the business to ensure high quality submissions • Support the development and implementation of strategic business development initiatives aimed at building client relationships and identifying new business opportunities • Ensure effective communication of the company’s offerings and value proposition through active participation in industry events and involvement in the preparation and generation of ideas What you bring • Business school or Master's degree in Finance • Minimum of 7 years of professional sales experience with wholesale asset management clients in the Benelux • Understanding of the asset management value chain • Ability to position capabilities/products commercially • Experience in promoting technical investment strategies/products • Private markets experience is a plus • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with commercial dynamism • Highly responsible, with a proactive, can-do attitude • Team player • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English What we offer • “New Normal”, it’s not new to us: As a global company, we’ve known the hybrid model before it was ‘in’.
