As

a Technical Planner

you are part of a contract team, you do this at a data center in Middenmeer.

The Technical Planner will oversee the successful delivery of all suppliers and internal preventive maintenance, projects and break-fix work orders for the campus. They will manage technical and PM planning across campus and drive a consistent approach across suppliers and internal works. The Technical Planner will work very closely with the Contract Manager, Critical Facility Manager, & Contract Support to ensure that all vendor PMs are completed correctly according to the pre-defined vendor PPM planned. The Technical Planner will also ensure that all supplier works are accurately recorded and completed within the CMMS for the successful monthly billing and handling of compliance requirements. The Critical Environment (CE) Technical Planner reports to the Contract Manager, Critical Facility Manager & Technical Supervisor This is what you will do: ·

Take responsibility for the technical maintenance schedule and CMMS management ·

Compliance with all quality, health and safety and environmental policies within the Critical Environment (CE) domain ·

The Technical Planner will work closely with the CBRE team for the planning and scheduling of operations and technical CE maintenance and break-fix items for the site ·

The Technical Planner will Coordinate/Plan and supervise ongoing PPM Maintenance. ·

Manage and plan the backlog of corrective break fix vendor work orders to completion - update and close CMMS work orders ·

Work with the Technical Supervisor to plan and schedule CE resources and align tasks with maintenance and break fix tasks accordingly ·

Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with the customer, site engineers, shift managers and other internal and customer stakeholders ·

Manage all access requests and onboarding of staff and suppliers ·

Update the CMMS tickets for all actions/tasks performed for vendor maintenance ·

Support site engineers to resolve technical facility issues and with the support of the Technical Supervisor, plan resources as required for maintenance and upgrades ·

Review all subcontractor non-maintenance and break fix method statements, risk assessments, etc. as required to verify that the works will not impact the facility - replan if necessary ·

Create reports of activities and issues that have occurred and require escalation ·

Attend daily coordination planning meetings to ensure all departments are aware of up-to-date site activities that affect them ·

Attend the CE daily planning meeting ·

Enter feedback on all suppliers visiting the site that feeds into quarterly supplier scorecards and review meetings ·

Attend all scheduled Contractor Performance Reviews with relevant suppliers and CBRE engineers in both mechanical and electrical disciplines ·

Be fully familiar with site escalation procedures and the AIR (Abnormal Incident Reporting) process ·

Provide input into, develop or improve site-specific procedures, including EOPs, SOPs, Apps and EOP & Drills ·

Compliance with all quality, health and safety and environmental policies within the CE domain ·

Report health and safety breaches through the 'HAZARD' process ·

Ensure method statements and risk assessments are used for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices at all times ·

Ensure a safe and healthy working environment. Wearing the CBRE uniform at all times and appropriate PPE as required ·

Ensure that CBRE's professional image is presented to customers and visitors at all times.

What do you need to get started as a Technical Planner?

·

Experience in a Technical Planning, Planning role/function, preferably in CE & Data Center ·

Be able to plan and coordinate mechanical and electrical scheduled maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks over a multi-month time frame, 52 week plan ·

Have the ability to identify, maximize and utilize maintenance opportunities. ·

Have excellent communication and coaching skills. ·

Have a good understanding of KPI’s, SLA’s & the financial impact of maintenance and reduce operational costs by identifying opportunities to carry out work yourself based on resources available internally. ·

An understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment including: feeders, transformers, generators, fuel systems, switchgear, UPS systems, battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, chillers, air handling units, AC units, BMS, fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems. ·

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with internal staff, the customer and with contractors performing maintenance or upgrade work on data center systems. ·

Computer literate with the ability to compile and submit monthly and annual reports, and to monitor and trend operational characteristics (load, capacity, environmental conditions, etc.). Good working ability on Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Smartsheet’s. ·

The ability to learn quickly and take maximum advantage of comprehensive training and development programs aimed at ensuring that any identified knowledge or experience gaps are addressed in the short term. ·

Organized, able to effectively prioritize and deliver within dynamic and high-pressure, mission-critical environments ·

Self-motivated, with the ability to work on one's own initiative ·
