The Key Account Manager role

As our Key Account Manager you will play a pivotal role in propelling our most significant accounts to new heights. You will be responsible for managing our flagship account, and providing them with the optimal services and value propositions in the field of IAM to leave the biggest impact on their digital security landscape. Whilst your main focus is on maintaining and growing existing accounts, you will also have the opportunity to generate new business within the DACH region.

We will provide you with the freedom to shape strategic decisions and prioritize initiatives, which will be backed by a team that values trust and accountability.

Central responsibilities include:

Serve as the main point of contact for Traxion’s major clients, focusing on our most critical and lucrative accounts

Drive revenue by effectively identifying and capitalizing on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within our existing client base

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, nurturing trust and loyalty to support ongoing business growth

Work collaboratively with teams across technical, sales, marketing, and finance departments to develop integrated solutions that fulfill client requirements

Engage with C-Level executives to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance client engagement and service delivery

What you’ll bring to the position

In terms of experience, we’re ideally looking for someone who meets the criteria listed below. However, if you have a gap in your knowledge but believe you’re the right person for the role, we welcome your application!

Proven experience in Sales and Account Management, ideally within the IT/Security sector

Skilled in managing large accounts, particularly at the enterprise level

Strong stakeholder management skills across various levels

Demonstrated ability to sell across different industries with a solution-focused and closing mindset

Fluent in German and English, with exceptional communication skills

Innate ability to connect with new and existing customers

High initiative, flexibility, and proficiency in CRM systems (like AFAS) and Office365

Completed education in Business, Commerce, or a related field
