The Quality Assurance team (6 fte), which is part of Abbott Logistics’ Global Quality and Compliance team is responsible for supporting Quality Hold execution, lot traceability reporting, training compliance monitoring, validation tasks, product finishing batch record review/disposition, and distribution complaint investigations and corrective actions. As part of the Global Quality Assurance

team, your responsibilities include: Provide Quality Leadership to the ALOG Breda Organization and Associated Facilities

Maintain site Food Safety Program and quality system procedures, provide quality support of strategic initiatives, and achieve quality key performance metrics;

Site Internal/External Audit Management - Facilitate internal Breda site audit plans and lead external government agency audits, accountable for associated corrective actions;

Supplier Qualification and Audit Management - Lead evaluation/startup of new third-party suppliers, manage approval of respective quality agreements, and maintain surveillance audit schedule;

Monitor Ongoing Compliance Elevations - Address audit observations, warehousing or distribution events, temperature excursions, applicable registrations/certifications, operational challenges, risk assessments, etc;

Approve Quality Records for RCA/CAPA - Approve documentation of any gaps in compliance from end-to-end through the division ABTRAQ process;

Lead ALOG Product Action Office Tasks;

Develop Strategy and Process Improvement;

Work with Site Operations & Customer Service, Division Quality, Division Logistics, Manufacturing Plants, Division Customer Operations, Affiliates, Regulatory, Commercial, Procurement, external Third-Party Suppliers, external government agencies (ISO/COKZ/SKAL), etc.

Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree/ Masters Degree in Health, Chemistry, Biomedical, Food technology, Life science, Engineering is preferred.

Fluent Dutch and English speaker (Dutch is mandatory).

Professional Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience within Quality Compliance/ CAPA, Auditor/ Auditee experience, Warehousing/Distribution experience or with managing direct reports is preferred.

Knowledge of all Legalization/Guidelines/Regulations related to distribution in Medical/Food Industry Plus extensive knowledge of applicable regulations, quality systems and good quality principles.

Knowledge/working experience on technical, logistics, materials management, production, engineering, computer science, quality control, quality assurance and compliance and regulatory.

Knowledge/working experience of Logistics/Supply Chain/Distribution/VAL activities;

QA knowledge on compliance topics.
