Market Data Analyst

As a Market Data Analyst you can make a difference by a continuous delivery of high quality market data to our internal customers. You will be involved in the development and implementation of complex processes to ensure a timely delivery of accurate data required to value our financial instruments on a daily basis. You and your job You will be working with other departments in the bank such as Front Office and Risk to discuss their need for changes in your data to react quickly to the ever-changing financial markets. You drive change in the team by focusing on implementing new technology that can help make our processes more efficient. You like to work together and get the best out of yourself and the team. Top responsibilities Collecting, validating and delivering accurate and timely market data throughout the bank to value trading positions such as Interest Rate or FX derivatives, commodity and credit products; Discussing with traders in hubs such as Hong Kong, London, New York or Sao Paulo what the best setup for their valuation instrument is; Looking for continuous improvements of processes by automation or simplification. The Area Valuation & Market Data falls within the Tribe Finance & Product Control, which is part of the Risk and Finance domain and responsible for providing reliable financial and management information for global supported businesses to the Wholesale and Rural, Treasury and Local Bank businesses in a timely, efficient and professional manner. Reliable financial information is supported by an independent daily valuation of financial instruments in the bank’s trading and banking portfolios and analysis of evidence of performed controls. You and your talent Customer focus, problem solving and analytical skills as well as a result driven and a pro-active attitude are essential for the role of Valuation Controller. You hold a master’s degree with a focus on Finance, Economics or Econometrics or a degree in another discipline but with a keen interest in the financial sector; You can demonstrate your knowledge on financial products that are valued at fair value; You have a tangible interest in IT related systems and processes; You have a tangible interest in the management of data You are able to clearly express your ideas in English both orally and in written form; CFA, FRM, PRM or equivalent is considered an asset or willingness to work towards one; Interested?
