Profile Key activities include: Portfolio modelling and analysis: A portfolio model aims to create a shared understanding of the attractiveness and potential areas of concern for individual business units and or product-market-combinations (PMC’s), as a basis for Executive Board discussions about the future composition of Triodos' portfolio of activities. Scenario modelling and analysis: Involves evaluating the potential impact of various future scenarios on Triodos’ financial performance, risk exposure, and sustainability goals. By conducting scenario analysis, we can better understand the range of potential future outcomes, identify key risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to enhance our resilience, sustainability performance, and long-term value creation. This approach can also help align Triodos’ strategic planning, risk management, and reporting processes with its broader sustainability objectives and stakeholder expectations. Valuation techniques: Common practice are Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Dividend Discount Model methodologies and Excel-models. The market-based approach requires skills and data sets on Comparable Companies Analysis (CCA) and Precedent Transaction Analysis (PTA). Deal strategy: Defines the rationale for our M&A activities, the type and structure of the envisaged transaction(s) and the availability of capital for deal execution including impact on our key risk indicators. Every deal is unique so defining a clear shared deal strategy for the Executive Board is essential to successful deal execution. M&A process: Preferably experienced in important distinctions of M&A-phasing: 1) pre-due diligence (DD), 2) due diligence and 3) deal execution / post-closing / post-merger integration (PMI).
