At BDR Thermea Group, we are looking for a pro-active Senior Management Accountant to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for various financial accounting tasks related to payroll, intercompany charges and other financial accounting topics at the Head Office Accounting.

You will contribute to the preparation and integrity of the period management accounts, budgets, forecasts, annual report, wage tax reporting, and the completeness and accuracy of financial information of the Head Office and financial systems. About the team You'll be working closely with our dynamic finance team, reporting directly to the Head Office Accounting Manager & Business Controller. Your role will be solo, but it requires building strong internal relationships on group-level and across our global entities. What you'll do: Coordinate the payroll activities of the Head Office Accounting to ensure the completeness and correctness of the accounts regarding payroll. Ensure expense claims, vendor invoices, and that interest are dealt with and checked properly and are paid timely; adhering to the 4-eye principle. Ensure the intercompany process (including several types of on charges) is managed in a timely and correct manner. Ensure the Dutch head office payroll and the costs of the foreign head office employees are processed in a timely and correct manner; adhering to the 4-eye principle. Timely reporting of wage tax, pension premiums, and internal reporting regarding FTE and Headcount (monthly, budget & year-end reporting, etc.). You love doing this: To be a proactive team member, able to complete all the above tasks independently and oversee topics connected to financial accounting, payroll, HR, and tax. Drive continuous improvement and change – define and implement improvement actions. Desire to understand the deeper reasons behind tasks to deliver effectively. Develop and maintain strong relationships. Willingness to contribute to the whole of the department requested and non-requested deliverables. You largely recognise yourself in this: A minimum of 5 years proven, recent, experience in payroll activities and financial accounting within an international organization. Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Dutch and English. Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, quick in connecting the dots. Experienced knowledge of Dutch GAAP/IFRS. Team player. Accurate: data completeness and correctness. Strong presentation skills: ability to explain complex matters in an easy to understand language for all stakeholders. Customer-focused. Experience with AFAS (payroll/HR), ERP (S4Hana) group reporting tool SAP BPC is a preference. Why BDR Thermea?
