Solution Architect Databases (SQL on-prem, SQL Azure & PostgreSQL) within Area Engineering Platforms You could participate in architecting best fit solutions for Databases within our on-premise & azure cloud banking infrastructure. The on-premise Database platform need to be maintained, life cycled, managed by making use of special security requirements. In addition, it is collaboration, understanding and determining whether the chosen solution direction is also the direction that is promoted by Architecture. As a Solution Architect for Databases you will engage with engineers from Engineering Platforms to make sure we are delivering the DevOps Teams within our bank with the right solutions, so they can work at adding value without dealing with unnecessary overhead. For this you will work together with our Area’s Platform Service infra teams, Security Office, IT leaders, Financial stakeholders (FinOps) and others, to make sure the right architecture is implemented and at the same time is as cost effective and sustainable as possible. As a Solution Architect for our platforms you make impact by: Translating enterprise and business architecture guidance and decisions into actionable on-premise strategies. Set the enterprise architecture vision (based on the strategy of the bank) Define the business function model, create principles, set the technology standards. Verify if these are followed correctly across the bank. Keep track of the deviations and steer on getting it fixed.
