Currently, we’re looking for a Business Analyst to bring on board for a permanent contract. Profile How you will make a difference Your role is to support the private Value Stream. You will join a group of 4 Business Analysts / Process Managers colleagues dedicated to enhancing our private investment processes and systems. This role focuses on overseeing development, deployment, and maintenance of the eFront application, our core private investments administration platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, offering valuable input for prioritisation and suggesting optimisations to streamline our operations and day-to-day support. You assist users with technical issues, and you are the central contract point between different suppliers and internal departments to find solutions for the problems. You work on the continuous improvement of the processes and systems that support the Private Investments. Our goal is to be a future-proof asset manager, by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes and systems and bringing data to the heart of our organisation. We aim to make our impact more visible and empower our colleagues to manage investments with confidence. Take action You collaborate with the business and analyse existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation, leveraging the capabilities of our applications (mainly eFront and its ICT ecosystem). You identify and document clear “epics” and “user stories” that developers and data engineers can typically realise in a few sprints. You manage suppliers and keep an eye on the change management chain for our applications, make test plans and address technical issues or bugs related to eFront software. You are keen to join the network of stakeholders and ensure that the business reaches out to us with their requests. You work in close cooperation with (senior) management, end users and/or external parties to identify and follow-up on relevant operational risks and process improvements. To be successful in this role, you will: Have both business and technical skills to translate (complex) problems from business to systems. Have experience in taking the responsibility to convert needs, insights, and concepts into concrete requirements and maintain a backlog with sprint goals (and you dare to say no when applicable). Enjoy supporting users in the private value stream, assisting with software inquiries, troubling shouting technical issues and answer user queries. Possess sharp analytical skills and the ability to distinguish between the essential and the ancillary to quickly grasp processes and IT systems. Be energised by facilitating workshops with the business and look at design thinking and/or Lean methods. Have a mix of courage and organisational sensitivity, enabling you to effectively communicate your advice and decisions, gaining support from others and making choices transparent. Furthermore, it is desirable that you have: Affinity with the mission and vision of Triodos Bank and Triodos Investment Management (TIM). Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Application Consultant or Implementation lead. Experience in the investment management sector and the eFront application. Strong conceptual thinking skills and proficiency in navigating file structures such as XML and CSV, as well as BPMN. Proficiency in data querying languages such as SQL. Knowledge of business improvement methods like Lean, agile, design thinking etc. Fluency in English. Residency in the Netherlands. Your future colleagues You will report directly to Head of Data Management, IT and Process and work closely with the Business Analysis and Process team which has a close connection to the Data Competence Centre of Triodos IM. These teams are responsible for optimal support to the business teams regarding data management, automation, and process management. We maintain a robust ecosystem of packaged applications, external providers, and self-built systems to support the Triodos IM co-workers in their daily work.
