Strategic Planning & Analytics Associate, Sales Operations

About the Team: Uber Eats is looking to grow the Sales Operations team in the EMEA HQ in Amsterdam. The mission of the Sales Operations team is to “drive sales strategies

and improve sales performance to achieve our selection goals”, making Uber Eats the preferred delivery platform in the 13 EMEA markets where we operate.

About the Role: This role will work closely with Sales leadership, regional stakeholders, and global partners to build best-in-class analysis and large-scale reporting which will drive our sales strategy. We're looking for someone with strong problem solving skills, excellent analytical background and a natural attitude for stakeholder management.

Key objectives for this role will be:

Contributing to commercial strategic projects

and overall planning, driving objectives and key results attainment and suggesting initiatives to improve our commercial performance (i.e., merchant acquisition and results)

Supporting Uber EMEA Delivery

in developing outstanding reporting and generate insight for our leadership and country team

What You'll Do:

Develop, scale and strengthen commercial reporting and dashboarding for EMEA region

Lead ad-hoc requests from markets (e.g., deep dives, reporting updates)

Partner with distributed team to develop and scale analytics solutions for the region

Advise the regional leadership on commercial trends and strategy, deep diving into data and generating insights from them

Support commercial planning, discussing a robust targeting framework with regional collaborators

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years' experience in consulting, analytics, data science, banking/finance or technical operations

Foundational level SQL and Excel knowledge

Proven experience in managing sophisticated collaborators with different level of seniority

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of SQL

High confidence with Excel/Gsheet, preferred experience with Datastudio as well

Practical experience with visualisations, report and dashboard building, Tools: MS Excel / GSheets, Tableau, Salesforce Dashboards and Dashbuilder

Other Skills

Stakeholder Management : ability to manage expectations and define prioritization in agreement with main partners, such as commercial sales teams, sales systems, product teams, analytics

Project Management : Sees projects through to completion and knows how to create urgency

Language:

Fluency in English (spoken & written) is a requirement
