Global Key Account Manager – Flexible Packaging Huhtamaki’s Flexibles packaging segment is currently looking to hire an experienced Global Key Account Manager to join our GKA team based in Europe. As a Global KAM you will manage and actively develop assigned global key accounts, both strategically and tactically. Reporting into the Head of GKA, you will strengthen customer relationship and our commercial position, drive YoY profitable growth and increase the share of wallet within the Global Key Accounts. In addition, you will develop and execute account plans in coordination with the Global Key Account Team strategy, as well as leading strategic initiatives with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver financial targets. Global Key Account Manager

based in

Europe, ideally in any of the following countries: Netherlands, UK, Germany, Poland or Italy. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for driving profitable YoY growth for assigned global key account(s) markets and/or product segment(s)

Lead and implement annual account plans and align global account strategy to drive value creation for both customer and Huhtamaki

Manage and deliver financial targets

Lead and manage the customer tender process and negotiate commercial agreements

Build and deepen key customer relationships including cross functional contacts (procurement, R&D, operations, plant, marketing, etc)

Have deep knowledge of Huhtamaki company, our products and competitive market landscape

Collect and communicate account performance on a monthly basis

Drive and improve monthly forecast process and accuracy

Manages account receivable target and improve cash collection process with customer

Develop and build internal stakeholder relationship to drive collaboration between cross functional teams in order to align organizational resources to deliver the both strategic and tactical account activities

Report market intelligence such as pricing, product, customer market performance

Experience, Skills and Education: BS/BA degree in communication, marketing, business administration. Masters or MBA preferred

Min 5 years of Key Account/Sales experience, ideally in flexible packaging

Specific category experience in food, dry petfood or coffee

Experience dealing with FMCG customers

Proven experience in developing and implementing account strategies that will lead to sustainable revenue and profit growth for the business

Strong project management skills

Good finance acumen with analytical mindset

Good business acumen and ability to seize opportunity to win profitable business

Exceptional communication skills to present business plans, strategies and results to all levels of organization and internal and external stakeholders

Advanced in negotiation skills

Driven and organised individual with a structured approach

Fluent in English (others European languages are of advantage)
