[Financial Controller]

The financial controller is responsible for the timely and correct financial reporting of the division Bag-in-Box Spouted Pouches Europe (accurate representation of monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement). This includes statutory reporting, reporting to Group, forecasting, planning and tax. The controller works in close cooperation with the shared service center in Romania, Cluj on reporting and in close cooperation with the controllers regarding planning/ forecasting. The financial controller should also play an important role in improving processes and the control environment of the business.

Short term there is a need to ensure the timely completion accounts according to local GAAP, coordinating with external auditors. A second important objective is timely and correct submission of internal controls for 3 main entities (Heieinde, Jellinghaus, Eisfeld).

The financial controller reports to the Head of Finance Bag-in-Box Spouted Pouches Europe. The role is based in Tilburg, max two days per week home-office.

Key responsibilities

Reporting: Together with the shared service center in Romania, Cluj, he/ she oversees the month-end-closing ensuring OTIF reporting to the group. Make necessary bookings, provisions, accruals to represent the correct monthly reporting. Explains differences to Budget, last year - together with the controllers. Makes forecasts and latest estimates. Budget/ planning: Oversees the planning process with the controllers and inputs where not covered by the controllers (overhead for example). Ensures timely delivery of the plan to the group. Internal controls/ audit: The first point of contact for (internal and external) audits, internal controls. Financial tasks which are not executed by the shared service center: Tax applications / VAT (and IC supply & delivery), statutory accounting, bank payments CBS statistics You bring these skills, experience & education

You have relevant professional experience of minimum 5 years in financial controlling in an industrial company.
