For our customer, the European Union Agency for Space Programmes (EUSPA), we are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to work at EUSPA’s Galileo Reference Centre (GRC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. You will be deployed as ‘GNSS Cyber Security Manager’ to provide integrated support to the GRC infrastructure evolution, operational support, and maintenance as part of an industrial operations support team. GRC has a variety of tools developed within the core and secondary infrastructures as well as a strong operational team with a broad professional knowledge of GNSS systems. As ‘ GNSS Cyber Security Manager’ you will be part of the GRC Operations Team primarily performing daily maintenance and operations of the facility but importantly also supporting experimentation activities on an on-request basis for e.g. analysis on specific services and satellites after given events, performance analysis, etc. as well as supporting further evolution of the service. The following main tasks are: Service management:

Overall team management for Terma’s operations team. Coordination and planning of all the activities executed by the nominal operations and maintenance teams. Interfacing with the EUSPA local management and other service providers. Generation of service performance reports.

Cyber-security engineering:

Support to experimentation and ad-hoc support requests analysis requested by EUSPA. Support to further evolution and modernization of the IT infrastructure. Support cyber-security auditing and accreditation activities.

Contribution to operational documentation e.g. plans, procedure, training materials etc. This is a full-time position located at GRC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands. The requested start of work is August 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. What’s our company like? The successful candidate shall have: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. At least eight years of experience in any of the following areas:

Linux based security systems development Applicable operational experience as network/security operations engineer Applicable experience as cyber security operator Accreditation related activities

Experience with the following will be considered an additional value: Prior knowledge of Galileo or other GNSS systems. Languages: Fluency in English required, reading and writing.
