Director of Operations, Strategy Consulting

Cencora Vintura is currently in a phase of integration with our larger parent company, Cencora. This integration includes the harmonization of ERP systems, HR systems, and HR processes. We are seeking an experienced Director Operations who can lead this challenging transition and elevate our company to the next level, both in terms of existing operations and new operations emerging from integration. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director Operations will operate at Cencora-Vintura Group level overseeing mainly

indirect

processes, operations, and (improvement) initiatives across all our offices. Our offices are currently located in London (UK), Paris (France), Munich (Germany), and Utrecht (Netherlands). The focus of the role will be driving, streamlining, and sometimes optimizing current operations across multiple functional areas on an on demand basis by the Cencora-Vintura Group Leadership Team (GLT) and/or in direct cooperation with the functional Director Finance, HR, or Marketing (collectively Cencora-Vintura staff). The Director of Operations will also play a crucial role assisting in the integration with the parent company and future post-merger integration (PMI) activities, ensuring the smooth implementation of new systems and processes. The Director Operations reports into the GLT. Overall priority setting will been done in close collaboration with the GLT. The Director Operations can be located at one of our offices, but given the frequent interactions with GLT and staff, being (re-)located in the Netherlands is strongly preferred. The position is 1.0 FTE. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Streamline GLT operations (10%) Strategic Planning: Set strategic improvement and integration agenda together with the GLT and staff on an annual and quarterly basis. Reporting: Report and align with GLT on priorities on monthly actions (short-term) and quarterly roadmap (mid-term) basis. Prepare GLT related Meetings: Support the preparation of quarterly Leadership Team meetings. Support the preparation of annual Cencora-Vintura cross-Group strategy development and socializing events. Prepare (and also chair) our monthly virtual Group FIO (Friday-in-the-Office) meetings. Human capital management (30-40%) Resource Planning & Allocation: Responsible for effectively managing and allocating our talent pool (our professional resources) to help achieve financial, operational and project objectives. Learning and Development: Drive the Cencora-Vintura Academy by defining annual L&D priorities and curriculum (Academy Program) in close cooperation with the GLT and Country Leads. Make sure that the curriculum is delivered by involving and monitoring internal and external contributors to the agreed annual Academy Program.

Note : L&D needs will also emerge from the day-to-day experience with Resource Planning & Allocation. Streamline existing operations & drive PMI activities (50-60%) Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Integration Management: Lead the integration of ERP and HR systems with the parent company, including planning, execution, and evaluation. Project Management: Oversee projects related to operational improvements and integration activities, including managing budgets, deadlines, and resources Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and manage operational risks. Governing activities Stakeholder Management: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure improvement and integration goals are understood and supported. Team Leadership: Lead operational teams, develop talent, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting and Analysis: Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate the progress of integration and operational performance. External Supplier Management: Contract and manage external suppliers that need to be engaged depending on defined operational, PMI, or Academy priorities. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Education: Academic degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Experience: At least 8 to 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a professional services organization. Technical Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of ERP and HR systems and experience with system integrations is highly desirable.
