We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Procurement Sustainability to join in London, UK or Schiphol- Riijk

JOB PURPOSE As the Senior Manager, Procurement Sustainability for Liberty Procurement Services, will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of sustainable procurement strategies within LPS and for our clients. This position is suited to an individual who can collaborate with LPS teams, suppliers, and clients to embed sustainable practices throughout the supply chain. The successful candidate will help build a culture of sustainability, identifying eco-friendly sourcing approaches, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will be a team player, hard-working and have a clear passion for sustainable procurement. Prior experience in sustainability and / or procurement is desired. We are looking for someone who also has an interest and understanding of the evolving procure-tech landscape and it’s potential to further enable the sustainable supply chain agenda. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Sustainable Procurement Strategy and policies : Collaborate with LG and client sustainability teams to implement the sustainable procurement strategy aligned with environmental and social responsibility goals. Work with LPS category leads and Technology & Enablement to find opportunities to integrate sustainable practices into sourcing processes, supplier selection, and contractual discussions. Create / update accordingly the relevant internal and external policies and guidelines (e.g. Responsible Procurement Strategy, Due Diligence Policy, Responsible Supplier Code of Conduct, sustainable Procurement processes). Continuously evaluate and propose updates to the strategy to align with changing industry trends. Supplier Engagement and Collaboration : In partnership with the LPS supplier innovation team, collaborate with suppliers to improve their sustainability performance, encouraging the adoption of impactful initiatives. Assess, monitor and mitigate supplier sustainable risks throughout the lifecycle of the relationship by supporting Supplier screening, assessment and due diligence campaigns (including CSR audit coordination) and developing corrective action plans and mitigation scenarios as needed for continuous improvement in sustainability practices. Environmental Impact Assessment : Conduct detailed environmental impact assessments of procurement activities, Suppliers, products, and services. Support measures to reduce carbon footprint, waste generation, and overall environmental impact of the supply chain. Social Responsibility Integration : Collaborate with LPS category leads to integrate social responsibility considerations into supplier evaluations and selection processes. Ensure suppliers follow labor standards, human rights, and ethical business practices in collaboration with risk management colleagues. Deploy the Supply Chain human right action plan as per UN Compact guidelines. Compliance and Reporting : Work with LG and client sustainability leads to drive compliance with sustainability regulations, certifications, and reporting requirements. Report on performance and progress towards sustainability targets. Partner Engagement:

Participate in shaping the Sustainability & risk management governance framework and relevant RASCI. Work closely with LPS and client cross-functional teams, including procurement, the business, legal, and finance, to align sustainable procurement efforts. Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements and tailor solutions accordingly, becoming a trusted advisor. Organise and lead the Monthly meetings with relevant clients and LG CSR team. Communication & training : Work with LPS to propose and develop relevant sustainable internal and external trainings. Update as needed the content on Sustainable procurement processes and guidelines online (internal Procurement sharepoint, Supplier webpage, LG corporate Supply Chain webpage, etc.). Performance Metrics and Reporting : Report on key performance indicators to track and measure the effectiveness of sustainable procurement initiatives. Prepare regular reports for management and clients, outlining progress against targets. Industry Engagement and Thought Leadership:

Represent LPS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Act as a spokesperson for sustainable procurement, sharing passion, insights, and knowledge to build LPS's reputation and credibility. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, Procurement, sustainability, or a related field is preferred. Advanced degree in sustainability and/or risk management or relevant certifications is desirable. SKILLS & ABILITIES Experience working in the area of sustainability, preferably within the procurement and supply chain domain and from either a blue-chip in-house procurement team or a

consulting/professional

services organisation. In-depth knowledge of sustainable procurement principles, environmental standards, governance and social responsibility frameworks. Strong understanding of sustainable supply chain practices, relevant legislation (e.g. CSRD, CSDDD) and relevant certification schemes (e.g. Scope 3, ISO 20400, GRI, CIPS Sustainability Index). Excellent communication skills to inspire and drive sustainable sourcing initiatives across LPS and client organisations and with external partners. Team spirit, with a focus on encouraging a collaborative work environment. Ability to analyse data, identify key sustainability metrics, and use them to make data-driven decisions. Experience in developing sustainability reports, processes and communicating sustainability achievements. Knowledge of current and emerging technology solutions relevant to sustainable procurement management Experience operating in an

international/multi-country/matrix
