Senior Business Controller Finance

As our Senior Business Controller Finance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Reporting & Control function. You are an inspiring sparring partner for the Executive Board and the Finance Manager, with whom you work closely together. Although you will be part of the Finance Department, you will also have a reporting line to the CEO. You also connect with middle management, business owners, and your Finance colleagues. Together you excel in translating business desires into well-founded business cases and subsequently into practical processes and solutions. The role of internal ambassador suits you perfectly. You are the strategic and operational business partner for the Executive Board and management in general when it comes to achieving business objectives and (sometimes complex) financial issues as well. Together you map out the financial consequences of IBFD's strategic decisions, while the finance team helps you with your role as strategic partner of upper management. You ensure that the correct financial information is collected, bundled, executed, and communicated correctly. This way you help the decision makers to make the right decisions at the right time and achieve targets. You can be described as a hands-on type of person, who is always open to taking on different tasks. Apart from being responsible for the operational financial side of your work, you co-create and co-organize the planning and control cycle, management reporting, budgeting and financial performance.
