Transport, Infrastructure and Mobility

Our Transport, Infrastructure and Mobility business unit conducts research, provides policy advice and leads projects for public and semi-public sector clients both in and outside of the Netherlands. Our clients include Dutch ministries, local authorities and municipalities, semi-public institutions such as the Port Authority, the European Commission and international institutions such as the World Bank and European Investment Bank. As a Business Unit Manager (sector leader) you will lead a team of over thirty motivated consultants, including recent university graduates and others who have been active in consultancy for decades. You will work closely with other business units of Ecorys Netherlands and with the Ecorys offices in Brussels, the United Kingdom and other European countries. You will report to the Managing Director of Ecorys Netherlands. Your responsibilities

As a sector leader, you enjoy working in collaboration with others. In addition to acquisition and being involved in the execution of projects, you will be in charge of a team of about 30 consultants. You will also be part of the Management Team (MT) of Ecorys Netherlands. Your responsibilities include: Managing, motivating and developing the people in your team Attracting new talent Maintaining contact with (potential) clients Enhancing the presence of Ecorys Netherlands in the relevant market areas Developing a network for potential collaboration with partners and experts Developing and executing the business unit strategy Ensuring high-quality implementation of the projects Developing and achieving the annual financial targets Active participation in the MT of Ecorys Netherlands Contributing to the strategy of Ecorys Netherlands Collaborate with other business units of Ecorys Netherlands and other regional Ecorys offices Contribute to a stimulating, safe and contemporary corporate culture Report directly to the Managing Director We offer
