Our client is an international company located in Amsterdam . At the moment we are looking for a IT Director. The IT director manages and controls the IT department (Software Development and Technical Services) prioritising and controlling work allocation ensuring all group entities targets and objectives ; the IT department provides an efficient service to all areas of the group as appropriate.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of systems department staff, allocating duties, responsibilities, etc.
• Liaising with The JV management, DDCE, the local brand’s IT (Amsterdam) and BPF to formulate, agree and implement systems strategy.
• Preparation of the annual budgets.
• Ensuring IT department provides an efficient customer service to all departments of JVNL.
• Appraising continually and reviewing the systems functions of the JV with a view to achieving cost reductions and greater efficiency.
• Participate in the development and introduction of new applications systems.
• Ensuring that updated documentation is maintained on all the JVNL systems.
• Ensuring that the JVNL follows Group procedures especially in the area of IT security.
• Management, control and support of the networks and desktop hardware.
• Responsibility for data and voice communication systems.
• As a member of the JVNL Management Committee ensure proper liaison between IT and all other departments of the Company and as appropriate with BPF/SIBS in Paris.
• To report all anomalies in internal control within the department to the CEO and Deputy CEO of JVNL.
• To be responsible for implementing Internal Audit Recommendations in a timely and efficient manner.

IS SECURITY:

• As part of the missions related to IS security, the LIR (Local IT Responsible) of the JV, in coordination with the Chief information security officer of BPF (CISO):
• Contributes to the evolution of the Information System security policy of BPF (PSSIB), if necessary completes the specifics of the country's regulations by setting up a local version subject to validation by KC Solutions,
• Communicates the PSSIB to the JV's managers, where applicable the local implementation of that policy, and ensures its application,
• Proposes to the CISO solutions to ensure the availability, security and integrity of IS and data within its perimeter of responsibility,
• Responds to the requests of the various control bodies, both internal and external to the JV, and implements the action plans to ensure the compliance of the JV's IS with the regulatory requirements and the recommendations issued by such control bodies,
• Identifies, evaluates and manages the IT risks of its own perimeter and ensures the relevant ⚠st level controls, liaising with the CISO and the Risk manager of the JV,
• Ensures the maintenance of technical documentation necessary for the JV PRA exercises and contributes to these exercises regarding local IT part,
• Contributes to the preparation of Information Security training materials and ensures an awareness of IT operational risks and information security in the JV,
• Ensures the transmission to the JV board, of information resulting from the IT Security Committee of Banque of the client (CSIBPF)
• Participates to the IT security meetings organized and facilitated by the CISO.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

⚠. Natural language skills:

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Fluent written and spoken French is required for:
• Participation in French meetings/audios.
• Translation for managers/directors is often required in meetings or documentation.
• Review/Validation of French technical/functional documents/test plans/strategy.
• Written French e-mail communication.
• Producing/reviewing project documentation in French.

⚠. Foreign language skills:

• Desirable:
• Very good written and spoken Dutch would be an advantage.

⚠. Professional qualifications, vocational training, education level:

• Essential:
• Educated to Degree level or equivalent strong experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, as it will be necessary to liaise on a daily basis with High Level Management, suppliers and varied levels of user and IT staff.
• Team Management.
• Desirable:
• IT strategy skills and basic knowledge of IT architecture.
• Project Management qualification(s).
• Budget Analysis qualification(s).

⚠. Previous experience required

• Essential:
• Professional experience in IT (Software Development & Technical) & in managing complex projects.
• Experience of working within an international environment.
• Strong understanding of business and IT processes.
• Previous experience of implementing IT strategy through the successful completion of software development projects.
• Background in Financial Services sector & knowledge of Consumer credit, Fleet and Wholesale Funding.
• Experience leading, managing and developing a team of technology professionals.
• Demonstrated leadership, relationship management and change management experience in large and complex organisations.
• Ability to coach and develop others.
• Experience working in a matrix environment.
• Proven record in personally implementing technology solutions and driving change to effect substantial business value improvements.
• Experiencing working to tight deadlines and liaising with many different teams in an international environment.

Desirable:

• Analysis experience working on projects greater than €⚠K.
• Management experience including coaching and development.
• In depth functional knowledge of all the clientssoftware applications.
• Background in Automotive and Banking industries.
